The Parable of The Lost Camera

On Sunday Loradona mentioned some items not to forget on our trip to Utah next week. Among those items was my camera.
I could not find it anywhere. By biggest worry was that it was left somewhere and I couldn't even remember where that place would be.
So, I looked in all the normal (and not so normal) places. Could not find it.
Then I cleaned off dressers, under the bed, the desk, the CORNER in my bedroom...NOTHING.
While I was talking to Jeanette I thought, "I need to take everything out from behind the desk, (it is where I keep some of my art work) and see if it is there". So after I hung up from Jeanette I looked behind a box that was between the desk and the wall. And clear back in the corner (shoved back by the box apparently) was my camera, safe and sound in it's case.
It's just like the coin the the biblical story, only modernized.
I also found a First Tech CU pen - in orange!
Love you all.

Here we go again

I really hate it when a salesman of any kind tells me, "This deal is only good today, tomorrow the price goes up". So when Sears came to give me an estimate on new cabinets and counters for the kitchen and then ends with a statement close to that one, I am immediately put off. But what happens the next day? Someone from Sears calls and says that they have a deal that they can make us if we let them come again. I let them come again, but I'm not sure I like their tactics. Just give me the stupid estimate and be on your way. If I like your style or price or both I will choose you, otherwise forget it.
This is why with the bathroom I just went with the guy that came first.
There is another guy that is coming on Monday to give me an estimate that can do more than Sears (construction stuff that Sears doesn't get into). So we shall see what he says.
If I survive this next level of remodel it will be a miracle.
Love to you all.

Work

I don't mind subbing but I've decided that I want a regular job. The perfect one would be three times a week - maybe a job share.
Sometimes subbing is such a crap shoot. I signed up for a secretary job yesterday and it was all classroom aid stuff. Which isn't bad, but most of it is in Spanish speaking classrooms. So, the teachers generally had me doing copies or cutting out things for them. I don't mind doing that, but I feel like I'm being wasted. I can do a lot more than that. Richard just says "Well, as long as they pay you the same". But I want to feel useful and needed.
Love you all.
