Dreams - or are they nightmares

I had a dream last night. I was getting ready for the reception (Jeanette's I'm assuming). I realize that I am not dressed (no, I am not naked). It is 20 minutes until the reception starts. Richard and Loradona are already lining up and people are already arriving. One of the Whitnah girls had been helping to set up and I said to her "Do you want to come with me to get a dress" She says "Okay" I was going SHOPPING for the dress with 20 minutes until the reception started!
I told Richard that dream (nightmare) and he said "As if!"
Have a really wonderful day.
Love to you all.

Mother of the Bride

I have been the mother of the groom, but now I get to be The Mother of The Bride. Yes, Jeanette - my baby is getting married. I talked to Maria (the mother of the groom) today. Now I need to:
  • Get a date out of Jeanette and Kyler
  • Figure out a place for the reception
  • Find a photographer
  • Make a dress
  • Order invitations
And a lot of other things that I can't even think of right now.
Oh, and I have to get my mom's house ready to sell.
Love to you all.

The Blues

I've done some thinking this week (amazing, I know). I had a day this week that I was feeling depressed and sorry for myself. Nothing serious, we all feel that way sometimes. I got to thinking what helps when I'm feeling that way?
Exercise helps, it really does. So does shopping, if I have money. If I'm depressed because I have no money, then shopping does NOT help. One thing that is interesting to me is, short term, reading my scriptures does NOT help. It is too hard to concentrate. But in the long run, reading scriptures on a consistent basis does help to not have too many episodes. Sometimes sleeping helps, sometimes not. Taking a shower almost always helps. Watching TV does NOT help. Last but not least, seeing Betty Carol ALWAYS helps.
Love to you all.
