Surgery

My mom is having surgery tomorrow. I have to have her at the hospital at 6:30 am. Which means I should get up at 5:15. I should go to bed now.
I'm just so tired of going, going, going. I want to just do nothing, just for a little while.

Big announcements!

Wow! In a weeks time two of my children have made big announcements. It's a very exciting time. I had always said that my children will all get married with in 6 months of each other, but I guess that is not going to happen. But the idea of my prediction is still intact. With Clifford getting married and Jeanette going on a mission a couple of months apart, what's next? Loradona?

I hope they call me on a mission...

Jeanette is going on a mission! I was very excited last night when she told me. I kept thinking "What happened to my little girl? She is so grown up and mature". Then Loradona and I were talking about where she could go and we finally had to just stop, because we were just "what ifing".
Then today I was still excited, until I realized that she is going to be GONE for 18 months. I will not be able to call her and say, "Guess what?" on a regular basis. And I felt sad. But only in a very selfish way. I still am glad that she has decided to go.
