Busy, busy, busy
So I have three days, plus Saturday to get ready to go on our trip. I told my mom I would take her Christmas shopping. I spent all morning waiting for the repairman to come in the time frame of 8am to 12:00. He didn't get here until 12:30. So, then I go get my mom and we are shopping all day long. We get to our last stop at Olive Garden/Fred Meyer. I come out of Olive Garden and she says, "What time is it?" "5:00" I say. "Let's just go home and you can come back and get the Fred Meyer stuff later". NO WAY! But I said, "Mom we are here I'm going to get it done". Now, I know that it has been a long day. I left home for the gym at 6:00am (so that I could be home for the repairman at 8:00am). But most of the time she sat it the car while I went into places to get gift certificates and such. SHE was tired?!
So then I get home make dinner, go to the grocery store, come home and help Richard finish putting up the Christmas lights. The phone rings. Yes, it is my mother. "Could you go to the grocery store for me?" Aaaggg! We were out all day! We couldn't have gone then? But I said "Sure Mom, in the next couple of days".
Tomorrow: Go to the gym, then to Woodburn to get Richard's gift, take dinner to the Flynns, visit Betty Carol and Brandi and finish up the day by attending Young Women's in Excellence.
Love to you all.
