Merry Christmas

Today is Christmas Eve. I have much to be thankful for. Yet I feel a little melancholy. I miss my kids. I had thought that maybe Jeanette and Kyler were going to be home this Christmas after spending last Christmas in Canada. They are just spending Christmas together, which is a good thing and I am glad that they are doing that. I just miss them.
I also miss my Japan family. I would LOVE to have them come here sometime. I'm just not sure if it will happen anytime soon.
I think next Christmas we might have to visit Jeanette and Kyler if they do not visit us. We'll see.
The May family is coming for dinner tonight. I'm still not sure how I got roped into that one, but we are going easy with Costco lasagna, bag salad and (not so easy) home made french bread.
